A GIRL CAN DREAM.

Ever since the days when I would don a Disney princess dress to accompany dad to the hardware store, I have always enjoyed getting up, getting dressed, and making it work in the morning. While I have long since traded in that beloved dress-up box for a slightly more sophisticated wardrobe, I will never forget the day I received my first sewing machine.

An avid fan of Project Runway and a zealous dreamer, I saw Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn in my near future. While this vision may remain a dream today, sewing and fashion design remain a favorite pastime.

While I am without any formal training, a quick call to mom can usually solve the problem. I have a basic understanding of pattern-speak although many of the pieces on this page are a product of my own design and pattern. Call me cheap, but my favorite pieces are upcycled combinations of fabric from clothes I have either out grown or never worn. I rarely sew pieces for other people, but if you’ve got a challenge for me, I just might be up for it!
